FEATURED EMPLOYERS Bonita Flats Vineyard Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ)

November 17,2020

Bonita Flats Farm and Vineyard was one of the fabulous local employers who hosted educators this summer as part of the Intro to Externships program. Thank you to Melissa Delgado of Bonita Flats for providing this meaningful experience to the educators!

[The INTRO TO EXTERNSHIPS program is an opportunity for RGV 8th-12th grade teachers, counselors, and administrators to work in fast-growing industries for a 3-day externship to provide firsthand experience of the world of work. The teachers then take that knowledge back into the classroom. This program is a collaboration between RGV LEAD - Rio Grande Valley Linking Economic and Academic Development, Region One Education Service Center, Workforce Solutions Cameron and Workforce Solutions Lower Rio and has the potential to provide a positive and lasting impact for more than 22,500 (each educator teaches an average of 125 students per day) middle- and high-school students in the region.]
